As we settle into our troubling yet temporary new reality, we as Centum Foundation have purposed to support the needy and vulnerable among us, to better equip them to endure and mitigate the adverse effects of the Corona virus.
To this end, in partnership with Two Rivers, we’re supplying our immediate community of Githogoro with 40,000 litres of fresh water. Up to 10,000 families can now observe good hygiene practices required to curb the spread of the virus. Installation of the water pipes from Two Rivers to the Githogoro settlement is now underway with support from the are chief and Githogoro youth who are digging trenches for the water pipes.
The COVID-19 pandemic marks an unprecedented time in modern history that will require the best of humanity to overcome. Our contribution as Centum Foundation to this fund will support immediate and long-term relief and recovery in vulnerable communities during one of the most challenging times we have collectively faced.
